Amethyst Fox was born from a season of slowing down.

My name is Brandie, and during my pregnancy with my son in 2020 and 2021, life required me to move differently. To listen more closely to my body. To tend not only to my physical needs, but also to my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. What initially felt like a limitation became an invitation to pause and to honor care as something sacred rather than secondary.

Motherhood did not come easily for me. After three miscarriages, God blessed me with my son, and becoming his mother reshaped everything. It grounded me in purpose and deepened my belief that women, especially mothers, deserve to be held, nurtured, and cared for just as intentionally as the lives they carry and raise.

Since 2013, I have taken small and imperfect steps toward a more non-toxic lifestyle for my family. Not from a desire for perfection, but from a desire to do better where I could. During pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, that intention deepened. I was able to birth my son at home, surrounded by calm, love, and women who cared for me throughout every stage. That experience changed me.

It also revealed something I could no longer ignore; how often care for mothers is overlooked.

Amethyst Fox exists to help restore that care.
